Boutique Store
A small business of two boutique stores managed by a single owner operates their stores in summer beach/resort towns, selling casual men's and women's apparel in high quality fabrics in simple silhouettes. The owner carried well known brands as well as managed his own private label production, purchasing fabric from European textile mills and sewing in NYC.
The Challenge
Emulate the look of the Italian “delave” linen at a lower price and free the owner from managing the cut and sew operations. Expand the boutiques’ own private label brand by sourcing “looks” the owner provided which he knew were consistent best sellers.
Our Solution
We sourced fabrics and developed processes to match our final products with his existing private label entities sourced from Europe at a significant discount and managed the entire sampling and production processes to deliver a final product to his door. We developed new styles based on samples he provided which allowed him to expand his private label collection in items which he was previously purchasing from other brands at a much higher price point.
